Many online users love a helpful and useful article like a how to guide for example. If the articles you write and publish are helpful, then the readers will be pleased and click on your links for additional information.

Another target of article writing is to make your article search engine friendly. This means including searchable
keywords that search engines will spider. Therefore researching appropriate keywords before weaving them into your article is crucial.

Use the keyword suggestion tool Google Adwords Keyword Tool to find which words or phrases are searched on most often. You also get an impression on the competition for each keyword.

Include your researched keywords into your article being careful not to repeat them so often (avoid keyword stuffing) that it won’t read smoothly. You want your article to appeal to your readers as well.

2. Article writing

2.1. Article length

Don’t worry about the article length too much. It’s more important to let all your ideas flow out of your mind
first. If you think it’s getting too long split it up into two or more articles. It’s often easier to write a short
article of 500 words than one of 1000 words. If you have just too many ideas to confine them to one or two articles you may start a series of articles.

Most article publishers prefer articles between 500 to 800 words and are reluctant to accept articles any longer than that. Others prefer longer articles over 800 words so check with the publisher before you submit your article for publication.

2.2. Spelling & Grammar – This is one of the most important things to consider when writing articles. It is very important that you double check your article after it is written and before you submit it. People don’t like reading articles full of mistakes. Make sure your sentences are complete, they end when they are supposed to, and you haven’t made any kind of mistakes before submitting.

2.3. Paragraphs – Make sure you use paragraphs the right way. Separate your article into paragraphs so it is easier to read. Use bullets, lists and bold or italic text when needed. That will make it a pleasure for other people to read your articles.
